"ABSOLUTELY AMAZED!"

After receiving a letter to my home from scotcall that was addressed to a man who doesn't live here, i e-mailed their "customer services" department to tell them of this slip-up and to inform them that i had no intentions of paying someone else's debts. 
 
not only did i get a reply, i got a POLITE reply! they thanked me for my e-mail and told me i would never be contacted by them about this matter again!! 
 
after i had picked myself up off the floor, i re-read it just to make sure i was seeing it right. i was. 
 
maybe all the complaints have finally had the desired effect. maybe i caught them on a good day. maybe they actually have a member of staff with a conscience. 
whatever it was, all i can say is that i'm amazed.
