i attended Ruchazie primarey school from 1967/69, the thing i remember most before i left for secondry school was that we were all told to go to the top classroom when we arrived and entered the room there was a big telivision, we were told to sit down and watch, well we as kids it never registerd , but we were watching history in the making , we watched the launch of the QE2, when i think back now , what an expeirience to see , and sadly no other children in Glasgow will see again ,i left Glasgow in 1973 ,i joined the reg army , sad to say visits to Ruhazie were few and far beteen , but still made a trip here and there to see my parents , happy days
