A review of Whistlers Mother by Steph U. - Thursday 12th of October 2006Being a "West-Ender" myself I find we are spoiled by eateries in Byres Road but I reckon Whistlers Mother Bistro is one of the best, not only on quality but on service and value for money as well. Most of the main meals are in the £5-£6 category and for this your plate is stacked with yummy food your just dying to delve into. The menu offers the usual fish and chips,burgers, home made pasta's which are to die for and great varieties of salads. The sweet menu isnt to be missed either, their ice creams are bellissimo, u can taste the calories of the double cream ice cream as u tuck in!! Most of all the waitresses here are extremely attentive and genuinly seem to care if ur enjoying their offerings. Overall a great little place to grab dinner and it is very resonably priced. Try it!!
