Firstly when AIC call and ask you confirm your name, address and DOB - refuse! Never ever give any personal and sensitive information to anyone over the telephone. We are informed over and over again by the Government never to disclose personal information over the telephone - so why would you confirm anything over the telephone to these fools?!
If they want to talk to you do ask them to do it in writing only and that you are not willing to confirm any personal and sensitive information over the telephone especially to someone you do not know and more importantly did not call.
