"Gone down the nick"

I used to stay at the Boswell regularly, and,whilst the food was always only adequate, the selection of beers was superb. I have recently been working in Scotland and stayed at the Boswell, and my advice would be don't! When I stayed my favourite beer (Deuchars) was literally off (and I had to tell them!).The food was awful and the staff can't even work a microwave!I'm afraid that my days of staying at the Boswell are over which is a shame.
