"Bought wrong size"

I was in your Houghton-le-spring shop and asked your sales person if she had any size 16 ivory trouser this was without the narrow band at the bottom of the leg.she went upstairs and came back with a pair I bought them since the trousers were a 29ins leg I shortened them t0 a 27 it was only when my mother was ironing them we found out trousers are a 14 I am not very pleased about this as I took you sales person word and now I have a pair of trousers that do not fit can you help yours christinefarnsorth87@yahoo.co.
