"Let go because of ill health"

A review of City Facilities Management (UK) Ltd by Lee Tyrer written on Tuesday 1st of December 2015

I was working at the ASDA CDC in Rochdale up until 30th November in the freezer department. Now i was still on my probationary time but in the 8 weeks of being there my health was getting worse.

I did ask my Manager if i could be taken out and put into a different department but was yold by her that i signed up for freezer so i would have to stay there. I was contracted to 16 hrs a week, 2 days but unfortunately had a few days off due to ill health caused by working in the freezer.

What annoys me even more is the manager knowing how it was affecting me did nothing to remedy it and finished me yet another member of staff was caught asleep twice yet kept there job.

The management for CITY FACILITIES in that place is a joke and doesnt care about anything apart from the staff making her look good.

I for one wouldnt recommend amyone working for them..
