"Amaing choice of wedding dresses but......."

My daughter chose a gorgeous wedding dress for her special day in june this year. The sales staff couldn't have been nicer and very helpful but when it came to dress alterations we felt completely let down. There was a list of 8 alterations to be done! When we arrived 2 weeks before the big day for the final fitting the dress had so much wrong my daughter was feeling very stressed and upset (naturally). She was made to feel as though she was exaggerating and the lady (Christine) was not very patient at all. After giving us another list of things to be fixed and another date we left feeling devistated. My daughter was so upset she thought she couldn't possibly wear the dress and was wanting to look for a new one! We then decided to take the dress elsewhere (not easy,2 weeks before the wedding) Ritas were not keen at all that we take the dress and when i arrived to get the dress i was told it had been fixed and i should pay £150. I refused as i wanted my daughter to try it on first. (My daughter refused to go back to the shop). We then took the dress to another alterations company and when the dress was tried it was even worse than the last fitting and the lady unpicked every alteration that had been done and had real trouble with the hem as it was so uneven. I called ritas and explained how upset we were and how disappointed we felt that the last fitting was spoiled. I was told they would get back to me after the wedding and sadly ive heard nothing.

Im happy to say my daughter was a stunning bride and her dress was beautiful..
