"Update on previous complaint"
A review of Fingertips by Angela Ritchie - Saturday 4th of August 2007
Further to my complaint I have been contacted by the owner of Fingertips, Fiona Wallace. I appreciate that the incident was outwith Fiona's control as she was not present at the time. She made it clear that she was not happy with the standard of service I received on the day - I know that Fiona has many satisfied customers and perhaps I just caught a member of staff on an 'off day'. To the girls credit I am sure I mentioned on my original message that she was very skilled and that I was very happy with her previous work. I was very upset at the time of the incident and tried to do a google search to find the website of the company as I felt it appropriate to inform the management in the first instance of my complaint - despite several attempts I could not find it. I then made the decision to use this website to voice my complaint. I guess at the end of the day I wasn't happy with the service and complained about it - but it takes good management to take criticism on board and use it to improve the service. I believe that my complaint was very efficiently dealt with - I was phoned, given an apology and offered a complimentary treatment of my choice as way of amendment. Very good management and customer service - well done Fingertips!
