"Is there a problem with that?"
A review of Dr J W Crorie by Disgruntled - Saturday 18th of November 2006If the doctor is "knowledgeable enough" then he/she would provide the parent with a suitable medication for the child and would never withhold a medication that was necessary. The NHS does not provide many medications which are available on general or pharmacy sale as there is not enough clinical evidence that they are useful, so if a child does not need an antibiotic, a bottle of Tixylix, Benylin etc to treat their child's cough is not considered necessary, and the parent will have to buy it themselves as they serve merely relieve and not to resolve.
